A tiny piece of green at Heathfield

A little piece of land at the entrance to Heathfield estate has yet again been the subject of a proposal by developers to build houses on it.

The land is a pocket hankie in size but someone is still willing to concrete it over.  We have fought three battles on this one in the last 8 years during my time as district councillor : now it is time to do it again.
But it will not be easy. The developers will say there is demand, it is sustainable and the lack of a five year land supply means the presumption should be in favour.
Time to mobilise the people of Heathfield.
