Hinxton playground equipment bid

I;m writing a letter supporting hinxton's bid for new playground equipment from Amey Cespa. The parish council went through all the detailed application process this week at the PC meeting, and it was just what a parish council should be doing.

I believe that this bid has the full backing of the community at Hinxton, and that the governance of the application, in terms of consultation, inclusion, and ensuring a robust value for money approach, has been outstanding.

Hinxton is a small but vibrant village with a strong sense of place. The fundraising that the group have secured to date demonstrates both the strength and capability of the group itself, and secondly the commitment of the local community to this cause. It is important that the existing old  playground is refurbished to take account of improvements in play equipment and to provide a good and safe environment  in the heart of the village.I very much hope that the bid is successful.
