Give me liberty or give me . . . a new surface for a Duxford footpath

It has taken over a year to chunk through and a lot of pressure on a squeezed highways budget, but work to re-surface Liberty Lane in Duxford starts this month. 

The lane is a tricky one to do - but it really needed it - because a lot of the materials have to be barrowed in, and there is a very old wall running along a bit of it that has no foundations, so be careful!

But it is a good path because it enables people to access the village school without going on the roads, so an important route for children and families.

And as a bonus, Polecat Lane will also be done.
