A505 junction at Thriplow - site visit

I'm meeting County transport director later this week to discuss the A505 and how to make it safer and not so congested at peak times. Meanwhile we had a site meeting at Thriplow's junction onto the road where the road lanes have been narrowed making it a very uncomfortable situation - and maybe a dangerous one for drivers turning right and waiting for a break in the traffic. The Thriplow Parish council were there too along with highways engineers Evan and Peter. We heard about a new safer junctions initiative that we might be able to bid into. Meanwhile Evan will measure up the width of those lanes to see if a repaint job is needed.
