travellers en vacances at Whittlesford Station

On Saturday evening a group of 1--12 travellers caravans and associated vehicles arrived in the car park at the rail station at Whittlesford. The initial assumption was this was the group of travellers who had been moved on from the Sawston roundabout a few months back. But no, they apparently have re-appeared at Addenbrookes.
I spoke to the local police and also to British Transport Police, who have paid the car park a call. I'm told the travellers are French, and only intend to stay a week. Whatever their nationality - and there has been some dispute about this given their numberplates - the caravans cause quite a bit of disruption given the busy nature of the car park in the mornings.
I'm told the bailiffs have been round but the process of moving people on from private land requires a court order to be served, and then a pause before it can be enforced. So Monsieur Hulo's Holiday will probably last all this week.
