Water - still there

Although there hasnt been continuous rain for some weeks now the impact on the drains and roads is still being felt, in that the land is waterlogged and many of the drains have become silted up with all the mud being washed into them. So even an overnight spell of rain brings an unexpected pond like this one in Whittlesford that I spotted on my run. The cause - a blocked drain somewhere underneath all this, is being jetted out by the County - there are still blocked drains in Duxford and Little Abington that need attending to.
