The county council is doing some remedial work to Grange Road which runs to the west of Duxford and round to Ickleton. There will be further work later in the year to finish it off. Looks as if it needs it - there were some spectacular holes, including two with warning traffic cones actually sitting in the craters when I drove carefully along it this afternoon.
There will be road closures but it will be worth it.
I have asked the county highways people to see if - while this work is going on -the issues about the flow of water down into Bustlers Rise off Grange Road in Duxford can be addressed. The county are going to take a look next week.
