Cereals Event 11 June
Stand by for an invasion of "sun-burned sicklemen" in June as the big arable event Cereals 2014 comes to Chrishall, with lots of parking in nearby villages and shuttles to the venues.
This came up at parish councils this month and we need to try to ensure the traffic doesn't come through village centres.
I'll talk to the highways team at the county about road routes.
The event is actually being staged just off the A505 near Flint Cross & has been in a similar location in previous years. I don't think it will effect the local villages too much, although there will no doubt be hold ups on the A505 at peak times. But its only for 2 days & brings much needed trade to local hotels & B&B's
