Country roads

Residents of Pampisford consider that the work done on their roads recently is poor.
This was supposed to be work done by contractors putting right some resurfacing that hadn't taken last autumn. The work is at no cost to residents or the County.
The complaints are that the work has not kept to the schedule advertised which means that cars are parked on the very road that is supposed to be being made good. In some cases people are happy to move their cars, but of course not everyone is in when the cheery contractors come knocking.
Of greater concern is that the road looks pretty much the same - certainly along Brewery Road on Saturday. I'm asking the county manager, Ben Hathaway, for an assessment.
