At the Whittlesford parish council meeting this week we agreed to go with the bulk purchase that the county council is putting in for grit boxes, so there will be two, one near the shop/Post Office, and one near the village hall. The actual shovelling of grit, should we get a cold snap like earlier this year, will be for public-spirited residents to do.
