The district council bin teams are coming round taking the strain on our Xmas festivities, and it is Whittlesford's turn tomorrow morning.
I put a pic of my bin on the village facebook page as a reminder to people, and immediately two people commented on the fact the Xmas cards should not be in the caddy, but in the main blue bin, as the caddy is primarily for paper. It just shows how much people take in and understand about recycling, which is a good thing, and so except for me having to pick the cards out and put them in the right receptacle, so as to avoid being shamed on facebook, this story is a positive one.
