a bit more crime - keep your car-keys safe

At Duxford Parish Council this evening I mentioned the recent thefts and a burglary at Whittlesford. Duxford replied that their problem had been with attempted thefts of vehicles.

I came back home and opened an email from Thriplow parish council passing on the news that:

 "In the last 24 hrs there has been 2 attempted burglaries, one in Foxton and the other  in Harston. An attempt to take keys to high powered cars on the driveways.The police are trying to identify the suspects who were reported in Foxton to have made away in an older styled 2006 Vauxhall Vectra."

We really do seem to have a bit of crime-wave going on in our local villages, and I think we look to the police, in whom we have confidence, to get it sorted.
