Dotterell Hall Farm at Fowlmere and a spot of fly-tipping

Following on from the alarms raised by residents about a sizeable amount of rubbish dumped near this property, I have written to the chief legal officer at the county about why it is taking so long to follow up on the enforcement notice that was served last June requiring the removal of - mainly wood - that was being piled up at Dottrell Hall Farm.
While the two incidents are unconnected, what local residents are concerned about is that the slowness in taking action against the wood pile may - just may - have led other people to consider the area to be a safe bet for a spot of fly tipping.
I dont think this is the logic being followed, but I have asked the county to set out a plan of action that is measured in weeks rather than months. The fly-tipping is a matter for the district council, and Deborah Roberts, district councillor and chair of the parish of Fowlmere has been on to South Cambs about that.
Here is a picture - sent to me by a resident - of the spectacular fly-tipping from last week.
