People in Fowlmere i talked to hope that the Village shop can re-emerge in a central location with good parking and an opportunity for passing trade. See pic.
As with Thriplow down the road, it may be a co-operative is the answer given the size of the community.
Gt Abington and Whittlesford's village shops are commercially successful but the footfall is bigger.
