Fowlmere safety tidy up progress

Earlier in the year when it was sort of warm and sort of sunny I arranged for the county council chief surveyor and the parish council at Fowlmere plus district Cllr Deborah Roberts to have a site visit after residents reported increasing dumping of materials at a site near the village school.
Closer inspection revealed that the materials were more stored than dumped, but some of it was considered dangerous, including some large water tanks which could prove tempting to adventurous school children.
Now the county has started the process of clearing the site after giving residents due notice to take away the stuff that has been squirrelled away over the years on the site. The site will be fenced off while we work out what to do with it - a community orchard?
