The grass is as high as an elephant's eye

Anyone of a certain age will recognise the opening song from Oklahoma - but residents have been getting pretty unhappy about the length of the grass at our road junctions. The warn wet weather this spring and early summer has not helped but it is potentially dangerous.
This is the junction of the road to Thriplow and the very busy A505. The parish council complained that for low small cars - typically driven by young people and not the most experienced of drivers - it is not possible to see what is coming along the A505 from the west.
There are also issues at Babraham, and at Whittlesford though that one has been sorted out.
I chased up county highways and this junction at Thriplow has now been cut. Will chase re Babraham next.
