Sun saves the day for Thriplow daffodil weekend!

Chatting to people who organise Thriplow's famous and fabulous Daffodil Weekend this afternoon. And to some stall holders, who were all smiles, because although yesterday was rainy and cold, today was sunny and warm and busy. A good sign was that the beer tent outside the Green Man had sold out. 

Morris dancers danced, beer and cider flowed, tea was poured, cake was sliced, ice cream dispensed and sausages and burgers flipped. And, constantly reinventing itself, the weekend now has a foodie angle: artisan pizza, charcuterie and breads, paella, seafood and posh pies. 

The money raised goes to charities.
