keep away from the Pampisford going north bit of the A505 - if you can!

A major traffic diversion will kick in for a week because the A505 is going to be resurfaced from the A11 junction south to near the junction of Babraham Road, Pampisford.

The work - being done by the county council - is planned to take place Monday 23rd to Friday 27th November 2015. To enable the work to be completed safely a road closure will be put in place between 8pm and 6am. The diversion route will be via A11 to Stumps Cross roundabout, onto A1301 and to then re-join the A505. This will operate in both directions. Access will be maintained to adjacent properties and vehicles will still be able to access Pampisford and Babraham from the west on A505.

The contractor will be sending letters to affected residents and businesses. The diversion route will be clearly signed to direct users as required.

Given how busy the A505 is this is going to be slow going if you get caught up in this, so plan another route if you can!
