Cycling past and present and...future?

its exactly five years since the cycleway linking Whittlesford thru to Sawston was opened. See second pic of news cutting.  It cost over £300,000 but it has opened up the fields and footpaths to dog-walkers, joggers, and of course children heading over to Sawston VC (taking care on the Sawston by-pass) and people cycling to the shops at Sawston and the gym at the VC because sometimes its actually quicker than driving round on the A505!
Then at the beginning of 2015 we had the cyclepath along the A505 to Pampisford, Babraham and the Abingtons, linking them with Whittlesford rail station - pic 1 is the opening of that.
The bit that isnt linked up is a route south to Duxford, under the A505, which we are trying to achieve, working with Network Rail, and of course,
 our fearless MP, Heidi Allen.
