Today saw some 150 elderly residents from local villages sit down to a turkey dinner with all the trimmings generously provided by the owner of the Red Lion Hotel, Whittlesford Bridge. The meal was helped served by students at Sawston Village College who are interested in catering and hotel management as a career, and after dinner entertainment courtesy of William Westley School choir and carol singers. Good to see our two PCSOs from Cambs Police in attendance and mingling with the guests too.
