Remember the floods - helpful advice from the county council
The county is putting out leaflets and information to parish councils and community websites about who to call and what for in the event of flooding of the scale of last winter. The information includes what are the rights and responsibilities of land-owners regarding water and maintenance of drains and ditches etc. This is known as "riparian" rights if you really want to know.
