The A505 at Whittlesford from the railway bridge going west from the McDonalds roundabout until the M11 roundabout is CLOSED 8pm-6am until Thursday 13/10 for essential maintenance.
Also the M11 southbound and northbound exit slips at J10 Duxford are CLOSED until 8 Oct 8PM – 6AM.
This means if you want to go from Sawston to Heathfield you need to go via Shelford - Newton - Thriplow. If you want to go to Duxford then need to go via Hinxton and over the ford, or down through Ickleton.
Just shows how much we all depend on the A505
