Whittlesford's Church Lane: wildflower to replace brambles

A few months back South Cambs District Council's local council housing officer decided to clear up some areas of brambles at the back of church lane after local council tenant residents had asked for the area to be tidied up. After the clear up, some other residents complained - rightly - that the work was not good for local wildlife and had removed some natural habitat. The district council is looking to see if a small wildflower meadow in the space can help put things right.
