I will be at the site visit tomorrow morning looking at the proposals for a new chimney at the Vetspeed site at Thriplow Heath along the A505. The company want to make use of new technology to dispose of waste, and one of the major items of contention is the impact the proposed chimney will have on flight safety at the airfield at Duxford, next door.
The planing committee meets to decide on Wednesday and I have been discussing the proposals with Thriplow parish council at their meeting this evening.
