Heathfield residents had the chance to discuss local issues with our PCSO Gary yesterday morning on a walkabout.
As well as briefing people on crime prevention ideas and kit, such as smart water and shed alarms, Gary talked through how speeding issues might be tackled, especially the main route into Heathfield. I agreed to get the county highways engineers to advise on what physical things could be put in to slow cars down - but probably not speed bumps.
