Remembrance

Villagers gathering in Whittlesford as in other villages across the county for the 11 o'clock service of remembrance on Sunday. Cars were asked to pull in (and turn off engine) and all but one did so. A lone trumpeter played last post and then, afterwards, reveille. No Cubs and scouts this year, but a warm welcome to our new vicar Revd Caroline Wilson who conducted the service.
