Thermal treatment plant at Thriplow Heath

The pet crem at Thriplow Heath along the A505 have plans to install an environmentally sustainable thermal treatment plant and gas fired combined heat and power plant.
The proposal should have come to the planning committee of the County Council this morning but I am told the developer is not available. I have contacted him to get an on site briefing of what is proposed.
The plan is for a thermal treatment plant to convert non-recyclable waste into clean gas for use in gas engines to generate renewable electricity and the combustion of char/charcoal. The end product sounds fine but questions to get more detail on include what emissions are produced as a result of this process, and how much recyclable material will have to be trucked along the A505 into the plant for this to work. It could be a lot!
