water, water, everywhere!

Its a while since the terrible rains of the winter before last, when places like Bustler's Rise in Duxford had problems, which the County Council dealt with after we had a site meeting and discovered a huge soakway had filled with silt and mud. Parts of Great Shelford needed sandbagging into the night. At Pampisford the rain together with a collapsed water main created a little lake on the London Road.  At Hinxton the situation looked like this, though again, the county council has now cleared the underlying problem.
Now Cambridgeshire County Council has launched a survey seeking views of its flood management approach.
The survey runs through June and the details are here http://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/NBICY/
