who will sweep Whittlesford's streets?

I've written in the strongest terms to South Cambs senior managers about the delays in having roads in Whittlesford swept, after some months of this. The main concern is Station Road where the lorries visiting the scrapyard leave dust and grit and debris which turns into a dust-storm in the summer on windy days and a mud sludge on rainy ones.

The problem is that the council allocates its drivers to the bin collection activity as a priority which is sensible, but this means road sweeping falls behind. We all know the pressures that local authorities are under, but this is one of those basic requirements.
