20mph is plenty debate

Managed to get along to the national 20splenty conference held here in Cambridge this week. The aim is for 20mph zones to become the default speed limit on residential and urban streets. Obviously much of the discussion was focused on urban, city approaches and successes, with a very impressive presentation from Transport for London. The issue of enforcement was a thread running through the debate and discussion, and not something we have quite sorted out locally, I think.
Good to get ideas to help those villages that want a 20mph area achieve their ambition. Also interesting to see a display of the solar powered cats-eyes that can be installed for cycleways. We could use those for the Whittlesford-Sawston cycleway!
