You havin' a LAF?

I met the chair of the Local Access Forum on Friday - the LAF is a group of volunteers set up by law to advise local authorities such as the county and district councils on the improvement of public access to land so that people can enjoy the countryside - whether cyclists or ramblers, riders or canoeists or anything in between.

The LAF also needs to take into account land management and conservation issues. We agreed we would go and look at the plans being drawn up for Northstowe, and what facilities and access the residents would be able to enjoy.
