And then they were gone...travellers travel

The French - or Belgian - travellers who pitched up at the Whittlesford rail station over the weekend have moved on. The police had been active in keeping an eye on things during the week. 

To be fair to our guests, they did say they only wanted to stay a week - but they caused a lot of disruption for people trying to get to work,  by taking up a good chunk of a very busy commuter car park. Perhaps they could no longer afford the extortionate fees demanded by NCP for the privilege of parking there!
