An update on the Planning Application for Spinney Hill Farm (the proposed cemetery at Newton Road).

As I posted last week, this will be finally decided by the planning inspector after the district council missed a deadline.

If you have any views on this planning application you should write to the Planning Inspector BEFORE 9 December. The planning inspector portal is simple to access and use.

Description of development:

The appeal will be determined on the basis of an Written Evidence.  The procedure to be followed is set out in the Town and Country Planning Appeals (Determination by Inspectors) (Inquiries Procedure) (England) Rules 2000.

The district council has forwarded all the representations made to it on to the Planning Inspectorate and the appellant. These will be considered by the Inspector when determining the appeal.

If you wish to make comments, or modify/withdraw your previous representation, you can do so on the Planning Portal at www.planningportal.gov.uk/pcs or by emailing the PINS case officer at teamp1@pins.gsi.gov.uk If you do not have access to the internet, you can send three copies to:
