More detail on the fire at Flint Cross

South Cambridgeshire District Council have now set up a dedicated web page for the Bridgefoot Quarry fire.  The page can be access using this link.

 I will be asking the County Council to keep an eye on any appeal lodged by the site owner against the enforcement notice that has now been issued requiring the land to be remediated (cleaned up) by February. This is because an appeal puts the enforcement on hold. We don't want this clean up operation dragging on.
