So as the broadband roll out gathers pace across this part of Cambridge the interactive map of which junction boxes have gone live looks a bit more interesting than a few months back.
I have been feeding back to the Connecting Cambridgeshire team the questions that are raised at Parish Councils and the most frequent one is still about whether the improved speed only applies to people with BT accounts - to which the answer is no, it will apply to all accounts.
I have also had queries about specific post codes and streets, including from people looking to rent or buy a property. the team can usually check which junction box and which exchange powers which area. The planned speed is 24 Mbps which will be pretty good. The last parts of the county go live at the end of 2015.
